Elise & Brett’s Jewish Wedding

Elise & Brett’s Jewish Wedding

On August 17th 2014 we were invited to perform for Brett & Elise’s Jewish Wedding at the beautiful Thornton Manor. We’ve performed at this venue on a number of occasions, from the Lakeside Marquee, Outside Gardens, to the stunning Music Hall within the main house itself.

Elise had previously seen us perform at her friends Jewish Wedding the year before – where she was bridesmaid – so decided to book us after being impressed.

Having recently moved over to San Francisco where her fiancé was based, it made the planning of the wedding a little different than usual. Not being able to meet in person and not wanting to liaise via emails only, we decided to Skype to go over the more important details.

On the day we provided production for the Chuppah Ceremony, installing sound system, providing wireless mics for speeches & music throughout the ceremony, all outside in the gardens. Once the ceremony had finished, guests moved into the house for canapés & champagne reception, where they were entertained by our Acoustic duo.

After the meal & speeches, we kicked things off with their chosen first dance “Never Too Much” by Luther Vandross, before starting the Hora.

Performing for this wedding was great fun & as half the guests attending had flown over from America, everyone was ready to party!

Here’s a little clip of the Hora Medley…
